Christ Church Year-end Appeal
Advent is a time of preparation and anticipation, but also a time to reflect on this past year and look forward with hope to the new year. Christ Church has had a difficult year financially, has met just 8% of the apportionment obligation of $27,000 and had to struggle at times to meet other expenses as well.
It would be a blessing if we could finish the year with a Christmas offering to help meet the financial shortfalls of this year. Whether this is being sure you have met your commitment for the year or an extra stretch offering to help meet our obligations, any and all would be greatly appreciated.
Also we are providing pledge cards, as in prior years, so we have an idea as to how much of our approved budget of $313,400 will be covered. We would like to have these submitted by December 21, 2024.
We at Christ Church are striving to continue our missional presence in our community with the new initiatives. Please continue to pray for Christ Church and be hopeful as we finish this year and proceed to the new year answering God’s call to be a faithful people.
